BLACK CARBON BAND COMPOUND

A durable tread compound that has proven its quality for years.
This standard compound with a high carbon black content guarantees very good mileage for road tubulars, durability and puncture resistance in select low weight and cross-bike tubulars for selected track tubulars.

TUBULAR

The base layer is made of cotton. It absorbs the glue evenly, achieving an optimal bond between the rim and the tubular.
The tread is made of rubber compound with active silica, silica or carbon black (depending on the model).
A protective rubber layer located under the tread, which indicates the wear of the tubular and the greater possibility of punctures when this layer appears (depending on the model).
Anti-puncture layer, made of a braided rubber compound, reinforced with ELC.
The carcass layers overlap and bond under the tread, increasing the TPI (threads per inch) and offering greater resistance to punctures.
The carcass is made of 2 layers of reverse oriented braided rubber compound bonded and reinforced with ELC. The TPI ranges from 60 to 210, depending on the model.
The airtight inner layer is a special butyl rubber compound, with very low air permeability allowing long inflation intervals. The solid bond between the hermetic layer and the carcass offers low rolling resistance.Tubular

TUBULAR KEY POINT

1.Rubber compound thread with active silica, silica or carbon black (depending on the model).

2.Protective rubber layer located under the tread, which indicates the wear of the tubular and the greater possibility of punctures when this layer appears (depending on models).
3.Anti-puncture layer, made of a braided rubber compound, reinforced with ELC.
4. The carcass layers overlap and bond under the tread, increasing TPI (threads per inch) and offering greater puncture resistance.
5. The carcass is made of 2 layers of reverse oriented braided rubber compound bonded and reinforced with ELC. The TPI ranges from 60 to 210, depending on the model.
6. The airtight inner layer is a special butyl rubber compound, with very low air permeability allowing long inflation intervals. The solid bond between the hermetic layer and the carcass offers low rolling resistance.
7.The lower profiles copy the shape of the rim and once inflated they offer a perfect union between them. They also protect lips from the edge.
8.The reinforced bottom profiles of the clincher tubes facilitate quick assembly and prevent the tube from coming off the rim in adverse situations.
